I have spoken about cabin rentals in Greer, Arizona before. Greer is one of Arizona’s premier cabin/lodge/bed & breakfast communities. There are many different options in this little town, and I am sure that I will be presenting more information about other cabin rental outfits in the future. Today we are going to talk a little bit about MyRick’s Cabins. I have a friend that stayed in these cabins last year and he had nothing but good things to say. As a matter of fact, his 12 year old daughter didn’t want to leave!

The cabins are spacious, newer, and well maintained. They have four cabins (the Beartooth, Shoshoni, Teton, and Lamar), each distinctively different. Each of the cabins has a fully equipped kitchen, TV with DVD player, gas fireplaces and gas barbeque grills. So, you can have a fully contained getaway wherein you are able to prepare all of you meals right there in the cabin, or you can go out to eat in the nearby towns of Springerville and Eager. One of the other high points for my friend was the fact that he could see the lake (Greer Lakes I assume) from the front yard of his cabin. It was very convenient for his son to be able to walk out the door and down the road to get in a good day of fishing.

As Arizona cabins go, MyRick’s cabins are a must visit. If you get a chance to visit MyRick’s Cabins, please come back, visit us and tell us (and others) about your experience.

Have fun!

Arizona Cabin – Hannagan Meadow Lodge http://arizonacabinguide.com/2008/06/17/arizona-cabin-hannagan-meadow-lodge/ http://arizonacabinguide.com/2008/06/17/arizona-cabin-hannagan-meadow-lodge/#comments Wed, 18 Jun 2008 04:58:41 +0000 admin http://arizonacabinguide.com/2008/06/17/arizona-cabin-hannagan-meadow-lodge/

Another Arizona cabin rental outfit is that of the Hannagan Meadow Lodge. This Arizona lodge is located in the same geographic region as Alpine, and has all of its beauty. My sister and brother-in-law have spent many summers in Hannagan’s Meadow and are always taken with its beauty. The lodge rooms and the cabins seem to be very nice, and as I have said above the area is just beautiful. The lodge provides a full range of accommodations that are sure to fit the appetite of any Arizona cabin enthusiast.

In addition to the Arizona cabin environment that the lodge provides, there are a multitude of outdoor activities for all seasons and all tastes. Regardless of the time of year, I would recommend a jacket as our beautiful mountains can be cool…yes even in the summer.

If you get a chance to stay overnight, make sure you come back and give us a full report.

Another destination for fishing, hiking, and winter sports is the little town of Eager, AZ. Located in the White Mountains of eastern Arizona, this little town provides an excellent location for both summer and winter vacations and getaways. The town of Eager is located near the towns of Springerville and Alpine. Here is a Google Maps image that shows the town’s approximate location.

If you are interested in cabin rentals in Eager, one option is Coronado Trail Cabins. They offer rustic cabins that are clean, non-smoking, and have fully equipped kitchens. Their convenient location provides a great advantage for hunters, fishermen, and outdoorsmen alike. An initial review of their site shows that lodgings are reasonably priced from $80 to $160 per night.

If you get a chance to stay there, write us and give us your opinion about their facility.

Now get out there and enjoy Arizona.
