We have covered a multitude of AZ cabins and lodges over the last several months, but we have yet to speak about two of the most popular spots to take an Arizona mountain vacation – Flagstaff, and Prescott. Flagstaff AZ and Prescott AZ are located close to one another and relatively close to the community of Sedona ( where we spoke about other AZ cabins). Last year my family and I were able to get up to Flagstaff and it was simply outstanding. Not overly large, but it had all the amenities we are used to. The mountains are spectacular, and the town was very nice. If you are going to Flagstaff, you want to consider staying in a Flagstaff cabin. One of the sites I found that provides information is the Coconino National Forest website. They actually rent cabins to the public that are located within the national forests, and will allow you to experience the area on a budget travel allowance. Very cool. They have several different cabins to choose from, and they all look very nice.

Prescott cabins are every bit as impressive as those in Flagstaff (or Big Bear cabins or Tahoe cabins for that matter). Prescott is another one of those must visit sites if you are coming to Arizona. It is incredibly scenic and well worth the trip. Just as in all of our other communities, there are a multitude of AZ cabins that are available to rent in this city. While I was poking around online, I found this nice little site (prescottcabinrentals.com) that actually allows cabin owners in Prescott to list their properties as being available or not. The site also allows potential renters to peruse the current inventory. The site is not designed so well, but the content is great.

Next week I may also write a couple of articles about cabins available in our sister states…cabins in Big Bear and Tahoe. We’ll see.

Now get out there and enjoy AZ!

Yesterday I wrote about a little community called Payson, Arizona that is located in central AZ. While I only profiled a single cabin rental outfit, never fear there are more profiles to come. However, I wanted to briefly turn my attention to the community of Sedona, Arizona. For those of you that are not familiar with Sedona, it is a great little town located in northern Arizona that is bursting with creativity and positive energy. While I have known about Sedona for quite some time, I never stopped to think about cabins in this little town. As you can tell by looking at my site, Arizona is full of picturesque places with wonderful cabins and lodges that will let you take the sites in.

I am just continually amazed at all of the locations of the cabins. If you have not been to Sedona, you should make a point to stop in…especially if you are a lover of the arts. I promise, you will not be disappointed. Also, for you UFO buffs, Sedona is supposed to offer occasional sightings of our brothers from other worlds. Take some time and jump over to the canyonwrencabins.com site. You may find it helpful.

I hope you enjoy Sedona.
